BRUNSWICK YOUTH DEAD, FATHER AND GRANDMOTHER DYING FROM PNEUMONIA

BRUNSWICK, Ga., Feb. 14.—(AP)—While doctors are waging a battle to save the life of his father, Omer Lee (Buddy) Yarbrough, 24, will be buried Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock, a victim of pneumonia, the identical disease which is expected to claim the life of the elder Yarbrough.

The young man's grandmother, Mrs. Eliza Yarbrough, 83, who lives near Jesup, is in a grave condition and is not expected to live.

"Buddy" Yarbrough died Monday after a brief illness. His funeral was to take place Tuesday afternoon at 4 o'clock and interment was to be in the Palmetto cemetery. Rev. C.J. Johnson, Baptist minister, was to conduct the services. The father and sister, Mrs. L.T. Joyner, survive.

FATHER AND SON DIE AT BRUNSWICK HOSPITAL

BRUNSWICK, Ga., Feb. 18.—John William Yarbrough, 66, died Thursday at the city hospital, where he had been moved Monday when his condition became serious, just before his son, Omer Lee Yarbrough, died with the same disease, pneumonia.

He is survived by one son, Erwin Yarbrough, and a daughter, Mrs. L.T. Joyner, besides his father and mother, all of whom reside here. He is also survived by two brothers and three sisters and several grandchildren.

Mr. Yarbrough was a member of the Norwich Street Baptist church and the funeral was held from that place Friday afternoon, Rev. J.C. Johnson, assisted by Rev. T.F. Drake, of the McKendree Methodist church, conducting the services. The pallbearers were as follows: Hoyt Brown, Olin Thompson, Otis Robinson, Vernon Shields, Urbana Thomas and Charles McLosky.
