"OREGON CITY-- Services were held at 1 PM Monday in the Holman-Hankins-Rilance Chapel for the late Sarah F. Rands, who passed away last week in Long Beach, Calif. Rev. Lee Knoll, pastor of the Presbyterian Church, officiated at the rites. Burial was in the Mountain View Cemetery here, where the late Clarence Rands, her husband, who died in 1931, was buried.

Mrs. Rands had resided in Oregon City for many years, but was making her home with a daughter in California at the time of her death. She is survived by a son, James Max Rands of Portland; two daughters, Mrs. Evelyn Bradshaw of California, and Mrs. C. H. Peake of Pocatello, Idaho; brother, Rev. A. J. Ware of Oregon City, and a sister, Mrs. Louise Wiley of Oregon City."
