Services for Hugh L. "Hack" Fargason, 81, of Dunn will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bell-Cypert-Seale Chapel with the Rev. Jesse Dea officiating.

Burial will be in Hermleigh Cemetery under the direction of Bell-Cypert-Seale Funeral Home.

He died Wednesday, Aug. 11, 1999, at Mitchell County Hospital in Colorado City.

He was born Feb. 17, 1918, in Hermleigh. He married Verle Provine on Oct. 10, 1945, in Kansas. He served in the Army during World War II from 1940 to 1945. He continued his service in Texas National Guard, serving a total of 23 years and retiring in 1967. He owned and operated a service station in the Dunn community for a number of years.

He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Janice Harty of Dunn; three sons, Marvin of Kempner, Kenneth of Leander and Clifford of Fort McCoy, Wis.; a brother, Blakley of Dunn; 12 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
