Suggested edit: Lawrence S. Judkins, Sr, 75, died Sunday evening at a Skowhegan hospital after a short illness. He was born Dec 19 1908, in Teton County, Idaho, son of Hiram and Claudine Swanner Judkins.
He married the former Rosie Holt, in 1932. He was employed by Dore's Marine, as a mechanic. He was a member of the Skowhegan Sportsman's Club and a long time residence of this community.
Survivors, besides his widow; include a daughter, Mrs. Benjamin (Wyoma) Merrill; five sons, Willard, Lawrence, Roy, Ralph, and Charlie; half brother, Richard Judkins; four half sisters, Myrna Miles, Jean and Lois Judkins, Sharon Judkins; several grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Burial Thursday, in the Fairview Cemetery, Canaan.
