LANETT — Mrs. Joyce Schuessler Clark, 82, of Lanett died Friday, Jan. 27, 2006 in Valley.
A memorial service was scheduled Monday, Jan. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Andrew’s Anglican Church in West Point with Father Bob Haux officiating.
Mrs. Clark is survived by five sons, Dan (Suzanne) Clark Jr. of Jacksonville, Fla., Richard Clark of Navarre, Fla., Rea (Debra) Clark of Lanett, Billy (Jenny) Clark of West Point and Phillip (Sharon) Clark of LaGrange; five grandchildren, Amber Clark, Virginia Clark, Mary Kathryn Clark, Danielle Clark and Alexander Rea Clark.
Mrs. Clark was born in LaFayette on Aug. 29, 1923. She was a graduate of LaFayette High School and attended the University of Alabama. She retired from the West Point Pepperell Corporate Office in West Point. Mrs Clark was a charter member of St. Andrew’s Anglican Church and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jane Schuessler Finney and Doris Schuessler Warren, and three brothers, Howard Schuessler, Bill Schuessler and Rea Schuessler Jr.
The Clark family received friends Sunday, Jan. 29 from 3 to 5 p.m. at McCarthy Funeral Home in West Point.
The family respectfully declines the gift of flowers and asks that memorials be made to St. Andrew’s Anglican Church, 204 Beallwood Drive, West Point, 31833.
