Newburyport, MA — Lucille R. (Lane) Hull Kelleher, 83, of Newburyport and formerly of Hamilton, died peacefully at home on Wednesday, April 8, 2009.

Born in Salem, Oct. 4, 1925, she was one of three children of the late George Woodard Lane and Beatrice Scarlett Lane. She was a graduate of Salem High School, Class of 1943 and earned her B.S. degree at Colby-Sawyer College, Class of 1947. Mrs. Kelleher was a medical technologist and worked at Beverly Hospital more than 20 years.

A resident of Newburyport since 1971, she was a volunteer long-standing volunteer at the Newburyport City Hall and a regular usher at the Newburyport Firehouse Theatre.

Besides her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Dr. G. Gorham Lane; her first husband Stanley A. Hull, Jr., her second husband, Daniel Thomas Kelleher and her sister, Mary Lane Goodnow.

Arrangements: A memorial service will be held at Elliott, Woodworth & Rogers Family Funeral Home, 35 Green St., Newburyport on Saturday, May 2, 2009 at 11 a.m. Private interment will be held at Greenlawn Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Hospice of the North Shore, 10 Elm St., Danvers, MA 01923 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
