Lotis Lautrail Hooks Jackson, 77, of Brunswick, died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Hospice of The Golden Isles.

Funeral Services will be held at 2PM Friday, March 22, 2013 in the chapel of Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home with Rev. James Lamb officiating. Interment will follow in Palmetto Cemetery with Mike Thornburg, Steve Guinn, Eddie Powell, Wayne Thompson, Tony Powell and Robert Quinn serving as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be Donna Mosley, Cristie Mosley, Shannon Mosley, Charles Mosley, Jr., the late Carlton Persall III, April Joiner, Glenn Joiner, Alvin Marshall, Bethany Rowe, Christina Rowe, and Ashley Rowe.

Born May 28, 1935 in Swainsboro, Georgia to the late George W. and Ola Bell E. Hooks, she had been a resident of Glynn County for over 60 years and was employed with the Glynn County School System. Mrs. Jackson was a member of Holy Church of God, and enjoyed collecting Beanie Babies, Angels and Dolls. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny H. Jackson, a son, Donny Jackson, several brothers and sisters, and a grandson, Carlton Persall III.

Survivors include Debbie Mosley of Brunswick, Jenna Quinn of Brunswick, Brenda Strickland of Hortense, Pam Marshall of Brunswick, and Lori Rowe of Brunswick, a sister, Johnnie Ward of Brunswick, eleven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6PM until 8PM at Edo Miller and Sons Funeral Home. www.edomillerandsons.com
