Joseph Heber Jolly Sr, 85, died October 19, 2003 at Halifax Regional Medical Center.
He is survived by his wife, Ethel K Jolly; two daughters, Betty "Kitty" Perkinson and husband James of Suffolk and Lydia J Morgan and husband Jack of Greenville, North Carolina; a son, Joseph H "Jody" Jolly and wife Brenda of Roanoke Rapids; a brother, the Rev Daniel H Jolly and wife Virginia of Warsaw, North Carolina; and nine grandchildren.
The funeral was held at Rosemary United Methodist Church. Burial followed in Cedarwood Cemetery. Hockaday Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
