Pamela Rae Archer Granger returned home to our loving Father in Heaven on April 11, 2009 in her home, after a two and a half year battle with kidney cancer. She resided at 1600 East Tree View Drive (4225 South) in Holladay, Utah at the time of her death.

Pamela (Pam) was born on September 21, 1941 to Don Kimball and Virginia Austin Archer in Holladay.

After graduating from Olympus High School in 1959, Pam spent her life working hard to care for her family. She loved her children greatly and did all she could to provide for them.

She worked a variety of different jobs through the years and was experienced in many fields. She spent many of her working years with Albertson's where she retired after 28 years of service. Most recently she was working as an office manager at Downtown Storage, where she continued to work diligently even through her illness.

Pam enjoyed crocheting and knitting and was famous for the countless beautiful items that resulted. She loved to host gatherings at her home with friends and family and cooked up her favorite meals.

She was an avid reader and was always up for reading a good book. Her most favorite past time was being with her family. She was very close to her grandchildren as well as many members of her immediate and extended family.

She was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and spent many years serving in the Salt Lake Temple in the baptistry. Pam was very loving of those all around her and touched many lives.

She saw great potential in those she came in contact with and strived to help them understand their worth. She always looked for ways to give and serve. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, great-grand-mother, sister and friend. Her family and friends will miss her quiet strength and abundant love.

Survived by her daughters, Rebecca (Robert) Warner and Katey Teece; grandchildren, Jerry (Nettie), Kurtis, Brandon, Gentry and Teaya; great-grandson, Armand; former husband, Brent Granger; sisters, Ginger Comarell, Kathy (Jim) Manwill, Molly (Chris) Bird and brother, Kim (Diane) Archer and many beloved nieces and nephews.
