GARLITZ, David H., Sr. Age 87, formerly of Brookville, passed away Sunday, November 30, 2008 in Brandon, FL following a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his wife Elsie (Lindsey), and his wife Ruth (Seifried), by 4 brothers & 2 sisters. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII, he worked at Weiler Welding in Dayton before moving to Florida in 1975. He is survived by sons, David Jr. (Waunita), Roger (Judy), and Phillip; daughters, Phyllis (James) Treherne, Cheryl Garlitz; step-sons, Jonathan (Cary) Seifried, Bruce Seifried; step-daughters, Shari (Ron) Gross, Laura Illanes, Samantha (Jim) Sipowitz, Shelly (Jim) Sawyers; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren, 11 step-grandchildren; brother, Roderick (Charoltte) Garlitz; special friend, Maxine, as well as other family and friends. A memorial service will be held 11 AM Sat. Dec. 20 at the GILBERT-FELLERS FUNERAL HOME, 950 ALBERT RD., BROOKVILLE., with Pastor Rob Wackerman officiating. A private interment service will be held later in Arlington Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 10 AM until service time.
