LINDSAY — Mass of Christian Burial for Earl Cunningham, 62 of Lindsay, is scheduled for 10 a.m., Monday, April 13th at St. Peter's Catholic Church with Father Gary Swirczynski ‘OSM, officiating. Interment will follow in St. Peter's Cemetery. A Rosary will be held 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Earl Cunningham died Friday, April 10, 2009 at North Texas Medical Center. He was born in Muenster, Dec. 12, 1946 to Herbert and Julia (Pautler) Cunningham. He married Janet Marie Arendt June 20, 1970 in Lindsay. Earl was an Insurance Adjuster for Germania Insurance for 30 years before retiring. He was a US Army veteran and a life member of the Muenster VFW. He was a member of the Lindsay City Council. He served on the Lindsay ISD School Board and was an announcer for the Lindsay Knights football games Earl was an avid fan of all high school sports. He was a very active member of St. Peter's Catholic Church. He was a Member of the Knights of Columbus No. 1167 in Gainesville. He loved camping, playing dominoes and collecting miniature antique cars. He also loved to playTexas Hold 'Em.

Pallbearers will be Jody Henry, Skipper Bezner, Tim Wimmer, Steve Zimmerer, Chris Craigie, Adam Arendt, Ralph Brockman and Daniel Dudenhoeffer.

His wife: Janet Cunningham of Lindsay; mother: Julia Cunningham of Muenster; sons and daughters-in-law: Tony and Amanda Cunningham of Nocona, Michale and Suzanne Cunningham of Whitesboro; Daughter & Son-in-law: Dalana and Brandon Barbee of Fate; grandchildren: Kelli, Kyle, Tanner and Samuel Cunningham; sister and brother-in-law: Carolyn and Charles Bridier of Tolar; sisters-in-law: Karla Cunningham of Gainesville, Patsy Cunningham and Edith Cunningham of Ft. Worth; numerous Nieces, Nephews and Cousins

He was Preceded in death by his father, Herbert Cunningham; brothers, Herbie, Ronnie and John Cunningham.
