Age 87, daughter of the late Thomas Womble and Rachel Gladney Womble-Dunbar. She moved to Erie in 1941 with her family, lived in Detroit, Mich., for a period of time and returned to Erie in the late 1960s. She was a self-employed, licensed accomplished beautician and cosmetologist, and retired after many years of service in her field. She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Apostolic Faith Church of God (now the First Born Apostolic Faith Church of God) where she was the Church Mother and served as missionary, Northern District Mother and in many other capacities.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepfather, Elder Howard Dunbar who raised her from a child; her second husband, Fred Woodard, Sr., her first husband, Willie Booker; a daughter, Ruth Anne Booker; five sisters, Odessa Meredith, Margaret Whren, Imogene Newell, Jessica Carothers, and Fannie Dunbar; and two brothers, Thomas and Melvin Dunbar.

She leaves to cherish her memory a nephew, Corey Meredith Woodard (Sharon), Waynesboro, Miss., whom she raised; stepchildren; and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, church family and friends, as well as Elder Tom McCann, Pastor of St. Mary's Church of God in Christ, Waynesboro, Miss.
