Mrs. Everline EasterlingTucker, deceased was born in Bibb Co., Alabama Sept 1, 1837. Very early in life Mrs. Tucker gave her heart to God and united with the Missionary Baptist Church and lived a Christian life until her death. We read of the good woman of the Bible Mrs. Tucker and Grandma Tucker as she was down in later life was a fair example of the types we find there she truly fulfilled her mission here on earth and died in the faith when it comes to obtaining things from God, Grandma Tucker left a host of friends to mourn her going. And her posterity was nearly 200 for she was the mother of 19 children, 79 grandchildren, 89 great-grandchildren, and 2 great, great-grandchildren.
Sister Tucker was married to Bro F. M. Tucker in 1853 they moved to Union parish, Ls in 1861 at her death she was 89 yrs, 10 mo and 26 days old.
She and Bro Tucker were permitted to live together for 64 years and the Lord wonderfully blessed their union.
The writer of this sketch was her pastor for 7 years, 25 years ago.
