Mrs. Beatrice Blackwell Payne, age 67, of Belleville, died Friday afternoon, December 21, at her home. Mrs. Payne was a retired School Teacher, a native of Yell County and the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Blackwell. mrs. Payne was a member of the Belleville Baptist Church.
survivors include her husband, Thurman Payne; one son, Carroll Jack Payne of Opelika, Ala.; four sisters, mrs. Reba Well and Mrs. Annie Childress of Fresno, CA; Mrs. Maxine Barrick of Phoenix, AZ and Mrs Faqueta Breshears of Dallas, TX and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at the Belleville Baptist Church Monday afternoon t 2 o'clock with the Rev. Rufus Caldwell, the Rev. James Sneed and the Rev. E. O. Tackett officiating. Interment was at the Belleville Cemetery.
Arrangements and Services were in care of Cornwell Funeral Service of Danville.
