Mrs. Mary Ellen Dooley

Mary Ellen Clark was born in Indiana, April 14, 1851 and died at her home in Munden, Kans., Nov. 25, 1913 at the age of 62 years, 10 months and 11 days. She lived in Indiana with her parents until young womanhood, afterwards moving with them to Iowa. She was married to A. C. Dooley, April 18, 1870. To this union, thirteen children were born, 10 boys and 3 girls, all of whom survive her. She was converted and joined the Christian church in early life and lived a life of loving obedience to the end. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and a true Christian friend to all whom she met.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Munden at 1:30 o'clock, Wednesday, conducted by Rev. Cecil Semans of Clyde, Ks. Burial was made in the Ida cemetery (sic).

The husband, thirteen children, two brothers and other relatives are left to mourn her departure, however our loss is heavens gain.
