Please establish for the memorial page of Elizabeth Geer Kent (#35724553) a spousal "indicated relationship" link with the memorial pages of Christian Sweitzer (#152675465) and Joseph Sweitzer (#5372616).

Christian Sweitzer married Elizabeth Geer on April 23, 1855 in Butteville, Oregon. I have a marriage notice from 1855 in a local newspaper article to confirm this statement.

Christian Sweitzer died on January 5, 1860 while aboard the S.S. Northerner. Elizabeth was on the steamship during the tragedy off northern California as well, but survived the wreckage. She lost her husband Christian and their child. I have a news clipping from 1860 to validate this account.

Elizabeth returned to Oregon.
On April 21, 1861, Elizabeth married who I believe was the late Christian Sweitzer's younger brother, Joseph Sweitzer, in Canemah, Oregon. I also have a news clipping to prove this marriage occurred.

On February 22, 1865, Joseph Sweitzer drowned near the Santiam River along the Willamette Valley in Oregon. Elizabeth was made a widow, twice. I also have records to confirm this from the Oregon Historical Society.

According to a clipping from the Sunday Oregonian on June 25, 1916, Elizabeth married Charles Francis Kent in 1870.
Charles died in 1896, making Elizabeth a widow for a third time.

Elizabeth Geer Kent dies on June 17, 1916. From same Sunday Oregonian article of 1916.
