Hollis M. NINE, 62, Burket, died at his home at 4:15 p.m. Friday of cancer. He had been seriously ill since December. Mr. Nine was born Feb. 2, 1905, at Leesburg to Henry and Larina HOPPUS NINE. He had lived at Burket since his marriage to Stella McINTYRE on Sept. 1, 1925 at Warsaw. He was a member of Mentone Masonic lodge No. 576 and Eagles lodge, Warsaw, No. 1339. In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Rick [NINE], Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. Lester (Geraldine) DRUDGE, Silver Lake, and Mrs. Miles (Maxine) IGO, Burket; two grandchildren, Sonny NELMS, U.S. Army, Germany, and Myra IGO, Burket; two brothers, Roscoe [NINE], Yellow Creek Lake, and Harry [NINE], Warsaw. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the King memorial home. The Rev. Wayne JOHNSON will officiate. Burial will be at Palestine cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after noon on Sunday.
