18 Aug 1923: Aaron Spitler, for many years engaged in the general store business at Greble, died yesterday morning aged 74 years. While Mr. Spitler had been in failing health for some time, the end came suddenly and was a shock to his family and many friends. His wife and one son, Stanley, survive. The funeral will take place on Tuesday morning at 9:30 at the house. The services will be conducted in the Friedens Lutheran Church by Rev. A. E. Youse, of town, and Rev. C. M. Rissinger, of Fredericksburg. Interment will be made on the Mt. Hope Cemetery. The arrangements are in charge of Funeral Director Isaac N. Bahney. [Lebanon Daily News]
