Fresh from an Ashtabula County Ohio farm and a hundred miles from home, Hanna met George M. Gray at Oberlin College. They were married May 28, 1884. Both Hanna and George got the travel bug and each year eagerly searched for new places to visit. On their trips around the world, Hanna would haggle with native merchants and would return home with vast assortment of merchandise. Egyptian lamps, a brass dinner gong from India, Persian tapestries, oriental rugs, and Japanese prints. One room of here house was set aside as a curio room to display her souvenirs.
Hanna is survived by her children; one son, A. Gordon Gray, Fostoria; two daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Holliday, North Springfield, Pa. and Mrs. Thelma Dunham, Toledo, Ohio; and by eight grandchildren.
Hanna was preceded in death by her husband, Gorge M. Gray; two sons, James G. and Merton B. Gray.
