Mrs. Milvina Josephine Samuels, widow of William J. Samuels, died at 12.57 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. John Powell, at Pinecroft.

She was born at Sharpsburg, Bedford county on Nov. 25, 1865, a daughter of Samuel A. and Mary E. (Blackburn) Berman.

Surviving are nine children as follows: Charles G. Samuels of Youngstown, Ohio, Mrs. Ralph Redline of Dunkirk, N.Y., Mrs. Elizabeth Smith of Philadelphia, James J. Samuels of Juniata Gap, Mrs. Kenneth Redline, George Samuels, and Mrs. Dean Mills, all of Altoona, Mrs. John Powell of Pinecroft and Frank Samuels of Bellwood.

Surviving also are twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Samuels was a member of the Riggles Gap Brethren church.

Friends are being received at the Powell home after 7 o'clock tonight.

SAMUELS—The funeral of Mrs. Melvina Josephine Samuels, who died at the home of Mrs. John Powell, a daughter, at Pinecrotft, will be held from the residence with services Wednesday at 2 o'clock in charge of Rev. A. Ward Campbell. Interment in Carson Valley cemetery. Friends are being received at the home after 7 o'clock this evening.
