Blanche A. (Jackie) Callahan, 96, of Roanoke, Va., died on Wednesday, April 8, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, James H. Callahan; and daughter, Brenda Callahan. Surviving are her daughter, Betty Rhymer and spouse, of Florida; son, Ronald Callahan and spouse, of Roanoke; grandchildren; greatgrandchildren; and sister, Wilma Boyd, of North Carolina. A graveside service will be held noon on Saturday, April 11, 2009, at Sherwood Memorial Park with Dr. Wayne Sellers of Waverly Place Baptist Church officiating.
