Known as "Kid Adams", Walter led a life of crime in the Western town of Ouray. He was killed by a lawman looking for the reward for capture or kill. His body was shipped back to Canon City, and he was buried in Section 3, Block 34 in Greenwood Cemetery. His parents were James A. Adams and Emma Adams, his grandparents were Brazilia M. Adams and Carrie Adams.
