The gravestone for "Brazilia Modezette" Adams is "B.M." Adams. He was a Baptist minister. Chances are, his name was actually "Barzillai," a biblical name. The marriage index indicates his name was "Barzillai M Adams." The 1870 census enumerates him as "Barzillar Adams." In a document written for his children, he says this: "The Baptist Church was the next church organized in 1865 by Rev. B.M. Adams...." I have also found instances of his name written as "Barzella." Try as I might, I don't find ANY instances of "Brazilia Modezette" Adams, except here at find-a-grave (and in some Ancestry.com family trees that have obviously been copied from the find-a-grave record). Nor can I find an official record which uses his middle name. Since he himself used "B.M. Adams" in his letter to his children and also on his gravestone, I feel that his name should be changed on the find-a-grave memorial to B. M. Adams for the sake of accuracy and also for the sake of people who might be trying to find him here.
