War casualty. A member of the 1st Marine Division, Sgt. Robbins was killed by hostile rifle fire while on convoy with the Ninth Engineers Batallion. A graduate of E.C. Goodwin Vocational-Technical School, he has lived in Southington, Conn. for seven years. He was the fourth casualty of the Vietnam War from Southington. He enlisted in the fall of 1963 and was stationed at Camp Lejuene when he re-enlisted. He was a member of the First Company of the Governor's Horse Guard.
