Funeral services for Calvin Richard Parker, 60, of Wesley who died Jan. 25 in a Fayetteville hospital following an extended illness were held last Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wesley Church of Christ with Tommie Glenn, Church of Christ minister, officiating.
Mr. Parker was born July 22, 1905 at Patrick, the son of Ellis Alexander Parker and Effie Elizabeth Tackett Parker, and was a farmer.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Gardner Parker, of the home; his mother of Booneville; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Sue Pettit of Elkins; 2 sons, James Phillip Parker of Hobbs, New Mexico and Elmer Ellis Parker of Rogers; two sisters, Mrs. Ruby Johnson and Mrs. Ada Drain of Muskogee, Okla.; one brother, Nolan Parker of Fort Smith, and five grandchildren.
Brashears Funeral Home had charge of the arrangements and burial was in the cemetery at Wesley.
