Son of Jonathan Morris Coen and Millicent Bailey Coen. Husband of Rose Viola Quick.

Isaac Elmer Coen was born July 6, 1868 in Wisconsin and died at his home near Moorewood, Ok., on August 25, 1952 at the age of 84 years, 1 month and 9 days.
He was united in marriage to Rose Viola Quick on September 27, 1896 at Everton, Mo. They came to Oklahoma in October of 1898. Four boys and three girls were to this union, a son Carl, preceding him in death.
Funeral services were held in the Moorewood Baptist church at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, August 27, with pastor, Rev. T.R. Shannon, in charge. Burial was in the New Hermon cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Rose of the home and his children, Clyde of the home, Ray of Franklinville, N.Y., Mrs Ruby Chapman of Enid, Ok. Ted of Brawley, Ca., Mrs. Theo Whitson of Moorewood, Ok., and Mrs. Irene McDowell of Leedey, Ok.
He also leaves two brothers, George of Waterloo, Iowa, and Jess of Enid, Ok., a sister, Mrs. May Howe, of Cushing, Ok. nieces, nephews, and 16 grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of friends.
