Funeral Services were held 10:30 A.M., Saturday, May 27, 1989 at St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton. Interment was held in the Hampton Cemetery.

Anna Pauline Peitsch, the daughter of Gustav and Ernestine (Brandt) Arndt, was born in Hamilton County, Nebraska, on February 25, 1893, and passed away at Aurora, Nebraska, on May 25, 1989, at the age of 96 years and 3 months.
She grew up in the Hampton area, and attended country schools.
On May 20, 1915, she was united in marriage to Charles Peitsch, at Hampton. He preceded her in death in November of 1953.
After their marriage they lived in Hampton, where her husband managed the Farmers Co-op Elevator for many years.
In 1978 she moved to the Heritage House in Columbus and for the past 4 yeas has resided at the Hamilton Manor in Aurora.
Anna was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Hampton, and was very active in church groups until the last few years. She also belonged to a bridge club, as she loved to play cards.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 6 brothers, Carl, Gustav, Jr., Herman, Theodore, Ralph, and Harold Arndt; 6 sisters, Esther Arndt, Ida Enderle, Lydia Enderle, Johanna Arndt, Leona Arndt, and Gertrude Hines; one half-brother William Schultz and one half-sister, Martha Eberhard.
Those who remain to cherish her memory are 3 sons, Kenneth of Lincoln, Chester of Columbus, and Arthur of Haven, Kansas; one daughter Lucille Blanco of Rancho Palos Verdes, California; 2 sisters Ella Schaffert of Hastings and Wilhelmina Arndt of Lincoln; 10 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great great-grandchild.
