The death of L. J. Lillibridge, a former resident of Delaware county, occurred at his home at Columbia, South Dakota, on Monday, December 1, 1913.
Leverett J. Lillibridge was born near Bailey's Ford in this county on June 25, 1849. He came to Manchester about twenty years ago and conducted the Clarence House livery barn for several years. After disposing of the livery stable, he removed to South Dakota about ten years ago, where he has since resided.Mr. Lillibridge is survived by his wife and four children, Jay and Bradley Lillibridge of Columbia, South Dakota; Mrs. George Packer of Minneapolis, Minnesota, and Clair Lillibridge of this city. He is also survived by one sister, Mrs. R. E. Grommon of Delhi.The remains wee brought to this city this afternoon. Arrangements for the funeral have not been completed, but is is quite probable that the services will be held Friday afternoon. Interment will be made in Oakland cemetery.
