Died - Mr. D. R. Groover, last Sunday, of dysentery. Surviving are his wife, three sons, Daniel R. Jr., George and Frank, one daughter, Miss Minnie (?); one brother, Mr. S. C. Groover and two half-brothers, Messrs. B. H. and Frank Groover. He was born in Bulloch County near Arcola, Aug. 19, 1852.

Died - Col. D. R. Groover, 54, Saturday, at his home in Statesboro, from the effects of a carbuncle. He married Miss Lula Rawls and she and four children survive him. Among his brothers and sisters are Mr. Samuel C. Groover, Mrs. Eliza Lee, Mrs. Josie Brannen, Mrs. James H. Blitch, Mrs. W. H. Cone and Ben Groover.
