David L Franz, 81, of 129 16th St. SE., Auburn, Died Saturday. Mr Franz was born in Parker, S.D., and moved to Auburn in 1925. He retired as section foreman or the Northern Pacific Railroad in 1963 after 43 years, He was a member of the Pacific Methodist Chrch and the Moose Lodge. Surviving Are his wife, Mildred; four sons, Lloyd D., and Howard R, both of Auburn, Loren, of Pacific, and Rodney, of Carpinteria, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Arnold C. (Marjorie) Olin, of Renton; 22 grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren
