Former city resident dies; rites Monday
Services for Henry Dunlap, 92, former city resident, will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Vondell L. Smith Mortuary, with burial in Carter Cemetery, Carter. He died Friday in a Sulphur Hospital.
Born in Waco, Texas, Dunlap came to Oklahoma City in 1937 moving to Sulphur in 1954. He had been a Evangelist for 53 years.
Survivors include six daughters, Mrs. Millie Peterson, Monahan, Texas, Mrs. Florence Blakemore, Garland, Texas, Mrs. Minnie Belle Coble, 6617 SE 5; Mrs. Henryetta Aaron, 3608 S. Liberty; Mrs. Elizabeth Chennault, Dalhart, Texas and Mrs. Elva Forsythe, Dover, Delaware and five sons, N. M., Ezera and Henry both of Los Angeles, California and Pete, Whwahnee, California.

Funeral services for Henry Dunlap, 92, who had been a Pentecostal faith evangelist for 53 years, were held Monday morning in the Vondel L. Smith Mortuary in Oklahoma City. Burial was in the Carter, Oklahoma cemetery.
Mr. Dunlap died Friday in a Sulphur Oklahoma Hospital. He had traveled through Oklahoma and the Texas Panhandle in a covered wagon in the early years and was in Amarillo in 1917 and 1918 when he conducted revival meetings here.
Among survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Chennault of Dalhart; and a granddaughter, Mrs. Clyde Phillips of 910 Tyler, Amarillo, and five other daughters and five sons.
