Sarah Ellen Logue Langford is 100% Cherokee Indian. She Married Joseph Willis Langford in 1890 and had 3 Children together. There Children are DessieMae , Clayton , and L.E. Langford .

Funeral Wednesday For Mrs. LANGFORD

Funeral services for Mrs. J. W. LANGFORD will be held at Elliott's Chapel of Memories Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock.

Hollis SWOFFORD, Church of Christ minister, will officiate. Mrs. LANGFORD was a member of that church.

Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery beside the grave of her husband who died in 1944.

She died Monday in a Wichita Falls hospital where she had been a patient for more than a year.

Mrs. LANGFORD is survived by five daughters, Mrs. E. H. FINCH, Mrs. C. M. NICHOLS, and Mrs. Walter JONES, all of Abilene; Mrs. E. C. DORSETT of Plainview and Mrs. W. T. TALLY of Shep; one son, Fred LANGFORD of Hamlin; three sisters and brothers; 15 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
