Former Custodian At H-Su Succumbs
Clem Kidd LEMMONS, a former custodian at Hardin-Simmons University, died Wednesday at 2:15 a.m. at Hendrick Memorial Hospital following an illness of about a week.
Mr. LEMMONS had lived in Abilene for several years, coming here from Dallas. He was a member of the Macedonia Baptist Church.
Funeral will be held at the Macedonia Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. H. D. CUMBY, officiating. Burial will be at City Cemetery under the direction of Curtis-Strakes Funeral Home. Time of the service has not been announced.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Betty LEMMONS and one daughter, Ruby Jean, both of the home.
