A veteran of the Korean War.

Ralph E. Fahlor, 74, of Kittanning, died Monday, April 6, 2009, at his residence. He was born Feb. 20, 1935, in Cowansville, a son of the late Thomas R. and Eileen (Swigart) Fahlor. He retired from U.S. Steel and was a veteran of the Korean War, having served in the Marine Corps. He was a member of Cowansville Presbyterian Church and a member of American Legion Post 122 in Kittanning. He enjoyed camping, playing cards, playing pool with friends and spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his sons, Ralph Fahlor Jr., of Kittanning, and James Fahlor, of Ford City; a daughter, Cherie Fiscus, of Cowansville; four granddaughters, Michelle King, of Kittanning, Jayci Seybert, of East Brady, Alissa Fahlor and Adrien Fahlor, both of Ford City; a grandson, Paul Fahlor, of Andrews Air Force Base; five great-grandsons; a brother, Raymond Fahlor, of Cowansville; and two stepgranddaughters, Keri Weaver and Lindsey Cumberledge, of Kittanning. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lois J. Fahlor; two brothers, Thomas and James; a sister, Louise; a stepdaughter, Karen; and a granddaughter, Angela. Friends will be received from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday in Union First Presbyterian Church, Cowansville, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Mary Marks King and the Rev. Paul Rihel officiating. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates. Arrangements by SNYDER-CRISSMAN FUNERAL HOME, Cowansville.
