Born August 13, 1853 in Forestville, New York to Edwin Dennison and Elizabeth Ann(Downer)Dennison, she was educated in the East, graduating from Fredonia college in New York. She taught school for 10 years in Middletown, N.Y. and came west in 1882 to Prescott, Arizona. She married Mr. Draper in 1882 in Yavapai, Arizona. He had come west in 1881 to engage in the cattle business with his two brothers, Edward and Clinton Draper. After a little more than a year, Mr. and Mrs. Draper moved to San Bernardino, where they made their permanent home.
Surviving relatives include a sister, Elizabeth Dennison , of San Bernardino; sister-in-law, Mrs. Cora C. Draper, of Highland; five nephews, Howard and Donald Draper of Highland, Murray Draper of San Francisco and Howard and Gordon Riley of Cleveland, Ohio and two nieces, Mrs. George Wolf and Mrs. Frank Curtin of San Bernardino.
Funeral services will be held from the Mark B. Shaw Memorial chapel tomorrow at 2 p.m. with the Rev. William A. Thomas, rector of St. John's church officiating. Interment will be in the family plot at Mountain View cemetery.
