4 Jan 1912 - Mrs. M. E. Adams, formerly Miss Martha Elizabeth Womack, died at Beaumont, Texas, Dec. 29th, 1911, and was laid to rest in the cemetery at Moscow, Polk Co, Texas along side her husband J. H. Adams... Fulfilling her last request as previously stated she was interred by her lamented husband's side who on Nov. 1st, 1903 preceded her to the glory world.

Together these two has walked life's pathway since Feb. 4th 1858 on which day they were united in the holy bonds of matrimony. This union was blessed by the birth of 12 children, six sons and six daughters. They removed from their home in Macon county Alabama to Smithfield, on the Trinity in Polk County Texas, landing there Jan. 21st 1860. Of the children five sons and three daughters survive. Of their descendants, there are thirty four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
