Leander A. Booton, 59, carpenter, 1312 Avenue H, died Sunday after an eight week illness of stomach disease (cancer). He has been a resident of the city for 14 years and was a member of the Methodist Church.
Surviving are his widow, Mary, and one son, Henry Booton. Council Bluffs, two daughters, Mrs. Irene Millard of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. Hallie Gilley of Omaha, two brothers, Bert and Frank Booton of Council Bluffs, one sister, Mrs. Joe Reynolds of Council Bluffs. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 2 P.M. at the Cutler Mortuary. Internment will be at Pacific Junction.
