The deceased was born Feb. 10, 1849 in Rhienprovinz, Germany. At the age of 14 she came to this country with her parents, settling in School Hill, where she grew to womanhood. She was married two times, her second Husband being Peter Menne, to whom she was married July 14, 1874. She is survived by one daughter of her first union, Mrs. Charles Guetzloe.
The following step-children survive; Mrs. Peter Daleiden, and Mrs. Joseph Klein, and Henry, Philip and Joseph Menne of Kiel, and Jacob Menne of Oklahoma. Peter Menne died 24 years ago, and his wife had lived in Kiel ever since.
The funeral services will be held this Thursday morning at the Sts. Peter and Paul church, the Rev. A. Roder performing the last rites. Interment will be in the church cemetery.
