Alonzo Hurtt, 79, of Warrensburg died 9 a.m. Friday (Jan. 2, 1981) in Decatur Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be 1 p.m.. Tuesday in Dawson & Wikoff Funeral Home, with visitation after 5 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Illini Cemetery, Warrensburg.
Mr. Hurtt was born in Hidalgo, Ky., son of Rufus and Molly Hurtt. He was a retired farmer, a member of Warrensburg United Methodist Church, past master of the Warrensburg Masonic Lodge 959 AF&AM and past worthy patron of Order of Eastern Star 813. He married Flonnie Daniels in 1931.
Surviving are his wife; son, James of Decatur; brother, John Hurt of Monticello, Ky.; sister, Laura Bertram of Lexington, Ky.; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren. Three brothers and one sister preceded him in death.
