Obituary for Bernie Jo Bussell:

Funeral services for Bernie Jo Bussell, 77, of Sulphur Springs will be held at 10 am on Monday, December 12, 2005 in Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Shannon Hassell officiating.

Interment will follow in Yantis Cemetery with Cory Coker, Nathan Coker, Paul Starrett, Marty Bussell, Landon Bussell, Mike Heard, Christopher Starrett and Mark Coker serving as pallbearers.

Visition will be from 6pm to 8pm on Sunday, Dec. 11 at the funeral home.

Bernie Jo was born on Oct. 29, 1928 in Dallas to Josh E. and Myrtie M. Smith Gamblin. She married Don Bussell on June 26, 1950 in Amarillo. He survives.

Mrs. Bussell was a homemaker. She was formerly employed at H.D. Lee Company. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Yantis.

Other survivors include one son, Mark Bussell of Greenville, one daughter, Sheila Coker of Yantis and two grandchildren, Cory and Nathan Coker. She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeremy Mark Bussell.
