Grace M. Beavers, co-owner of Sand Trap Service Co. and Cold Springs Processing, died Wednesday at a Fort Worth hospital. She was 61.
Funeral will be at noon Saturday at Southcliff Baptist Church, where she was a member for 38 years. Burial will be in Laurel Land Memorial Park. Laurel Land Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Beavers was born in Electra, Wichita County, and moved to Fort Worth in 1942.
She was a 1945 graduate of R.L. Paschal High School
Mrs. Beavers was a member of the Greater Dallas Chapter of Sweet Adelines (who will also sing at the funeral).
The family suggests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
Survivors: Husband, Eldon G. Beavers of Fort Worth; son, Gary Eldon Beavers of Weatherford; two daughters, Sherry Thorp of Fort Worth and Terry Galloway of Santo; three brothers, Leonard Marshall of Indio, Calif., Conrad Marshall of Irving, and Robert Marshall of Burleson; sister, Elsie Green of Amarillo; and eight grandchildren, Carrie Ann Thorp, Chad Beavers, Kim Thorp, Ross Beavers, Ryan Galloway, Mary Beavers, Shana Galloway, and Megan Galloway.
