REED--In this city, on the 28th inst., George W Reed, aged 80 years. The relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral from the residence of his son-in-law, Victor T Carson, 16 Houghton Ave., on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.

∼George married Margaret T. Reed on 2 Jan. 1862 in Hamilton Square, Mercer Co., NJ. They had 4 children: Cora Bell (Reed) Carson, linked below; Mary Ella (Reed) Smith; Cynthia A. Reed (1869-1878), and Melville T. Reed, linked below.

Note: George actually died in 1920. The death year given on the gravestone (1919) is in error.
