Elisabeth (Betty) L. Grote
Elisabeth (Betty, as everyone knew her) died suddenly December 30, 2007 in Lawton, OK. Betty was born July 17, 1935 in Rheinberg, Germany. She came to the US shortly after her marriage to James K. Grote (he passed away April 7, 2006). Jim and Betty leave behind five children: John (Dawn), Jerri Silvernail (Dave), Judith, Jeffrey, Joseph (Pam); 15 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Both were preceded in death by their infant son James Leroy Grote. A memorial service will be held for both Jim and Betty at Calvary Community Church in Sumner on Feb 1, 2008 at 11:00 am.
