Irwin Turner, an old soldier, was born in Ohio, March 16, 1838 and passed away at the soldiers home in Danville, Illinois.

In 1858 he married Miss Lucinda Cahill.

Children from the marriage still living are Mrs. Della Shirk of Peoria, Mrs. W. F. Bohnstedt, Olney and Mrs. Gertrude Seaman, Columbus, Ohio.

Mrs. Turner died in 1877 and he married Mrs. Florence Taylor, who survives with one child Byron Turner of Brownstown, Indiana.
