Mrs. Mary A. Crowe
Frostburg, Feb. 26 – Services for Mrs. Mary Ann (Pangelly) Crowe, 76, mother of former Mayor Frederick Crowe, who died yesterday at Miners’ Hospital, where she had been a patient seven weeks, will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Hafer Funeral Home, where the body remains. The Rev. John Wilson, pastor of Eckhart Methodist Church, will officiate and interment will be in the Eckhart Cemetery.
A native and life resident of Eckhart, Mrs. Crowe was a daughter of the late Hannibal and Elizabeth (Pangelly), pioneer residents of Eckhart.
Other survivors include two sons, Reginald Crowe, at home; Clifford Crowe, Eckhart , and a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Ream, Canton, Ohio; 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Crowe was a member of the Eckhart Baptist Church.
