William E. Middleton
William E. Middleton, former organist in St. John's Episcopal Church in Georgetown and well known in musical circles here for many years died yesterday afternoon following an illness of several months at the age of sixty one years. For many years Mr. Middleton was an employee in the Treasury resigning several years ago on account of ill health. He had been organist at St. John's Church for twenty-five years, also serving as organist at the Rock Creek Church. He is survived by his widow and four sons.
Funeral ceremonies will be held in the chapel of Oak Hill Cemetery tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. Charles Buck, pastor of the Rock Creek Church and the Rev. Frederick B. Howden, of the St. John's Church, officiating at the services. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
