Shortly before she passed, she saw her daughter Martha married. Married- On Wednesday by Rev. G. A. Baxter, Mr. John E. McCluer, to Miss Martha Parry, daughter of Mr. John Parry, all of Lexington. Published in the6 Sep 1823 issue of the Intelligencer (Lexington, Va.).
Died- On Sunday December 26, Mrs. Martha Parry, wife of Mr. John Parry, of Lexington leaving her husband and six children. 31 Dec 1824, in the Intelligencer (Lexington, Va.), p. 3, c. 4.
