Burial is in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Vian, under the direction of Agent Funeral Home of Sallisaw. He was born on May 19, 1904, in Sycamore, Sequoyah County Indian Territory, to Jim JACKSON and Clara (SANDERS) JACKSON. He died on Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2004, in Vian. He married Kella YOUNG on Feb. 8, 1924, in Blackgum. The couple celebrated their 80th wedding anniversary on Feb. 8, 2004. Survivors include his wife of 80 years, Kella YOUNG JACKSON of the home; one son, Carlton; two daughters, Joanne and Louise; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; one sister, Clara and several other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
