MRS. DAVID H. CONNER DIES IN GILSON
Mrs. Mabel Conner, 56, wife of David H. Conner, died at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at her home here. She had been in poor health the past nine months, but her last illness was of three weeks' duration. Death was due to complications.
Surviving are the husband and three daughters, namely, Mrs. Leslie Gibbs of Galesburg, Mrs. Earl McDonald of Lacon and Mrs. Grace McCoy of Gilson. The following sisters and brothers also survive: Mrs. Kay Harper and Mrs. Clara Martin, of Galesburg, Albert Dalton of Creston, Ia., and Ransom Dalton of Gilson. Four granddaughters, Betty McCoy, Gloria and Catherine McDonald and Patty Gibbs, also survive. Her parents, two sisters, Sarah, who died in infancy and Mrs. Ella Conner who died in 1926, and a brother, Harley, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held from the Community church at Gilson at 2 p.m. Saturday with the Rev. John H. Clarke, retired Methodist minister, officiating. Burial will be in the Gilson cemetery. Friends may call at the home any time Friday.
