Jackie Lee Harbison, 51, of R.R. 1, Francisco, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, June 13, 1985, at Gibson General Hospital in Princeton.

He was born Oct. 5, 1933 in Washington Township, Gibson County. Harbison was a maintenance man for Keensburg, mine. He was a member of Masonic Lodge, Winslow, where he was the Master of the Lodge and member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Winslow.

He served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1957.

Preceding in death were his parents Fred Harbison and Cora Whitehouse Harbison (and a brother, Bertis)

Surviving are two sons, Jon Lee and Jay Lance Harbison, both of rural Francisco; a brother, Fred ‘Bob' Harbison and a sister, Mrs. Jeanet (Julia Ja-net) Colvin, both of Francisco; and two granddaughters, Misty Lynn Harbison of Union, Ind., and Jilaine Harbison of Oakland City.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. today (June 17, 1985) at Kendall Funeral Home, 520 S. Main St., Princeton, with the Rev Aaron Wheaton officiating.

Burial will be in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Mt. Olympus.

Visitation was held at the funeral home Sunday evening.

Jackie suffered a heart attack within site of his house on the way home from the mine where he worked & was pronounced dead at Gibson General Hospital.

He had previously had open heart surgery and had had a stroke on the operating table.
